The Lord blessed Jehoshaphat because he followed the example of his father’s early life…
May I likewise be found to follow you minus the caveat Lord. Please be with me.
In the third year of his reign he sent out the following officials to teach in the cities of Judah…
What Solomon should have been doing instead of building and accumulating stuff (1 Kings 10:14-29).…

May that be the case, Father. Help me to be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:5-9).
…They made a covenant in which they agreed to worship the Lord, the God of their ancestors, with all their heart and soul.

Rehoboam… did what was evil, because he did not try to find the Lord’s will.
May I do good, Father, ever seeking to find and do your will (Romans 12:1-2).
“Anybody who comes along with a bull or seven sheep can get himself consecrated as a priest of those so-called gods of yours.”

Rehoboam married Mahalath, whose father was Jerimoth son of David and whose mother was Abihail, the daughter of Eliab and granddaughter of Jesse.

“You alone know the thoughts of the human heart.”
So true (John 2:24-25).
“…so that all the peoples of the world may know you and obey you…”
May I see that with my own eyes, Lord (Habakkuk 2:14).…
